Very pleasant stay
We received a warm welcome with information about the town and places to eat. The room was clean , homely and nicely presented. There wereplenty of car parking spaces. The breakfast offered variety with juices, cereals, fruit, yogurt , toast and a variety of cooked options.
Lovely stay with our dogs.
We booked Score Valley Country House for a three night stay, as we had been there numerous times before.It had been bought by Donnalee about 10 months before and already she is making inroads to improving things.We had a comfortable room with our 3 small dogs which were warmly welcomed.Breakfast was served every morning in the dining room by lovely attentive staff.As we had our young puppy with us, who suffers from separation anxiety with my wife, the staff very kindly took breakfast to my wife in our room.On the last day the weather was nice enough for us to have our breakfast on the terrace with our dogs.I can’t thank Donnalee and her team enough for making our stay an enjoyable one.Good luck with the renovations, which I’m sure will all come together in due course. Perfect Escape
This place has everything, from the history of the house to the staff making you feel like family.We had a truly wonderful stay here, the location is within walking distance of Ilfracombe, driving distance of Barnstaple and is surrounded by the gorgeous Devon countryside. The rooms are well set out with everything you could possibly need (and the beds are very comfy). Breakfast has everything from cereal and yoghurt to toast and a full English. The staff were all really friendly and were genuinely interested in our holiday, Leigh especially made us feel at home throughout our stay.Would definitely recommend this beautiful bed and breakfast for anyone planning to go to Devon.
